Sorry that I haven't posted in a while. Bruce & I were gone to my lung disease convention in Cincinnati, from the 3rd till the 6th. We stayed over in Cincinnati, as I was due for my check up for the study medication that I'm on for my tuberous sclerosis. I had blood work & an MRI done of my kidneys. We learned that there has been some shrinkage to my cysts & AMLs. Praise The Lord! \o/ We returned home on the 8th, late in the day. I have ended up with a sinus infection & am on an antibiotic for it. I would appreciate if you would keep me in your prayers, for this. Well, that's about it for now. Take care & God Bless! Hugs! Will Be Out Of Town A Few Days! Current mood: good Category: Goals, Plans, Hopes
Hello Friends! Just wanted to let you know, that I will be out of town, starting tomorrow. Bruce & I will be driving to Cincinnati. Every year, my lung disease, which is called Lam, has a conference. Or as we call it, Lamposium. It runs from the 4th - 6th. We meet other patients, doctor’s & researchers, as well as scientist. After that ends on Sunday @ noon. We will be checking into another motel. On Monday, the 7th, I will be having blood work & an MRI. It’s to check if the study drug, that I have been on since December, is shrinking the cysts & tumors (AML’s) in my kidneys. This is another disease that for some women that have Lam, sometimes also have, what is called TSC. Or Tuberous Sclerosis. I have noticed improvement on the outer side of me, but this will be the first time for them to check, inside to see how it is going. We should be driving home on Tuesday the 8th. Not sure though how late it may be. So, I guess don’t expect to hear from me till the 9th. Just the traveling wears me out. Even if I sleep in the car. Just wanted to let you know, so no one might start wondering, where I am. I’m not scared or anxious about it. Just hate all the packing! lol Take care & God Bless All Of You! Jackie / Jackie Moo
Hello Friends! I hope you are enjoying your weekend, so far. The sun has been shining for the past couple days & we have almost lost the last of our snow. Still chilly outside. The temperatures are still running below average, for this time of the year. I seem to be having an off day today. It has been over a month, since my dear friend of over 30 years, passed away from a massive heart attack. He was only 50. He was an amazing friend! He always put others first before himself. I'm sure that's part of the reason his health was not the best to begin with. He didn't know how to say, no. When should have. Sorry for rambling on. Guess I just needed to get that off my chest & vent some. Never take for granted your family & friends. anyone dear to you. You never know, when God may call them home. I hope you had a blessed Easter weekend! I also, had my birthday on Sunday. That was the first time in my life that Easter, landed on my birthday. Bruce & I went to his parents for the weekend. We left about noon on Saturday & returned home, late last night. His parents had 20 people over for Easter! The travel & all the excitement was a bit of a drain on me. I'm catching up on needed rest, both last night & today. Just being lazy! Early next month, it will be on the road again. That time to Cincinnati for approximately 6 days! We have falling snow, here in southeastern Wisconsin. We are suppose to receive about a foot of snow. All the old snow, had just melted & there wasn't hardly any left anywhere. Oh well, this won't last that long, now with longer days & being closer to the sun. The main thing, I wanted to mention, is that we take time today, to remember, that on Good Friday is when Jesus was flogged & persecuted & He had committed no sin! The Romans, nailed Him to the cross, piercing His hands & feet! Then on the hill, they crucified Him. They put a crown of thorns on His head! He gave His life, with the shedding of His blood for all mankind's sins! Jesus spoke to God & His last words, were Father, Father why has thou forsaken me? Then the spirit left Him. It is said that, this took place sometime between 12noon & 3 PM. It became very stormy & the wind, split the curtain in the temple in two! Being that the next day was the Sabbath, they hurried before sundown & put Him wrapped in a white cloth & placed His body in the tomb. They rolled a huge stone in front of it. There were two Roman guards, that stood at the tomb to keep looters away. Let me ask you this. Would you be willing to lay down your life, for anyone? Remember, Jesus did this, so we can have forgiveness of any & all sins, that we may have committed, past & present & future. All one needs to do is repent of their sins & ask Jesus for forgiveness! He will cleanse you & rid you of your sins, from as far as the east is to the west. Then ask Him to come into your heart & ask Him to show you what He would have you do. Remember often to give thanks to Him & start reading His Holy Word, The Bible! This is His promise of eternal life! Live for Jesus Christ Our Lord! Take care & God Bless! Hugs! Jackie / Jackie Moo

Good Afternoon Friends!
Well today our youngest, turned 21. She is all excited as expected. Seems hard to believe! When Bruce & I married, she was a mere 5 years old. How quickly the years past. Today is also the first day of Spring, but according to our weather forecast, you wouldn't think so. We are due to receive about an inch tonight & then, anywhere from 5 - 8 inches tomorrow.
